Really dig what OpenFuel is doing and particularly appreciative that both the Gel Mix and the Drink Mix have ample sodium citrate content. That's good stuff!

Revolutionary. This gel mix is delicious, easy to make, light on the stomach, and perfect for consuming an adequate amount of carbs (without the preservatives!) on your long run. Just boil some water, mix up a batch, fill your soft flask, and let it cool in the fridge overnight - a perfect alternative to single use plastics. My only question: how do I buy this in a bigger bag?!

This is the cleanest gel I’ve ever consumed and came with a noticeable boost. Guess I’ve been using the wrong gels this entire time! The gels supplement the sports drink nicely and smoothly during my long runs. Hope this becomes available in the EU someday soon!

The gels mixed easily and were tasty. 200mg of sodium per serving was just a little too much for me when combined with drink mixes and other sources. It would be nice to have a lighter option.

Is it a little inconvenient to mix up your own gel? Sure. But get past that because the product is fantastic. It goes down so smoothly and really isn't that difficult to mix. Love that I am getting a fresher product with fewer preservatives - makes it so much easier on the stomach.

Instructions are clear and easy to follow for making the gel, the gel tastes good and is a good consistency in the flask, all around a great first crack at making a gel and being more eco conscious!

Bought this on a whim off of an Instagram ad and was pleasantly surprised by this addition to my running nutrition. I am a big fan of N2 gels, but they're quite pricey and can taste too sweet. These have a very similar texture as N2, but are more plain and obviously more affordable. They're a great option for those wanting to get more into the DIY gel world, but maybe don't have the time or want to commit to all the supplies yet.

Two changes I make are watering them down (which I do with all gels since that gets me to actually take them as often as I should) and I add a squirt of lime juice or lemon juice to give it some flavor without being overwhelmed by it. (please don't make flavors, or at least keep an option of flavorless so that we can flavor to our liking)

My one slight disappointment was that the 3D printed funnel scoop came broken. The 3D printed funnel x scoop is super clever, but I find that it is still in the R&D phase as the funnel leaks the powder and is a bit too big for how small the bag is. It would be awesome to see a v2 of the funnel and one that could hold the hot water to make measuring easy and also make as little of a mess as possible.

I was so excited to learn about this and once I placed my order, it arrived so quickly allowing me time to test it out before a race. I tried to mix it in a blender bottle and I do not recommend that. That is user error. When I transferred it to the soft flask, it was still clumpy (user error) but by the time I was ready for my first serving, it was perfect! The consistency was exactly what it should be, and the flavor tastes like I’m a hummingbird simply getting some nourishment from a feeder. The best part was going to clean out my vest after my long run, and there was no trash! I’m grateful this mix exists!

Amazing gel mix if you like to make your own at a really great price point. No mess, easy flavor (similar to PF 90 IMO). I bought 3 more bags after i tried it.

Big fan. Mixes up easily. Taste is solid and I like that there is sodium. Great for long runs.
